Getting Started with Botuj – Create Your First Chatbot

Learn how to sign up, create your organization, and embed your first chatbot with Botuj.

Botuj makes it easy to build and embed conversational AI assistants on your website. This guide will walk you through the process of getting started — from sign-up to creating your first chatbot.

Sign Up for Botuj

To start using Botuj:

  1. Go to the Sign Up Page.
  2. Fill in your details to create a new account.

Invited by another organization?
If you received an invitation, use the link in your email to sign up and join that organization directly.

Create Your First Organization

Once signed in, you’ll be redirected to the Botuj Dashboard (/app):

  1. Click "Create Organization".
  2. Provide a name for your organization.

Each organization can contain multiple members and multiple chatbots — making collaboration simple.

Create Your First Chatbot

After creating your organization:

  1. Click "New Chatbot".
  2. Provide the following details:
    • Chatbot Name: This is used internally only and won’t affect how your chatbot works.
    • Website URL: Enter the domain where your chatbot will be embedded. It’s best to use a format like https://yourwebsite.com.

Customize Your Chatbot

Head over to the Settings section of your chatbot to begin customization:

  • Appearance
  • Behavior
  • Language
  • Branding

Embed Your Chatbot

To add your chatbot to your website:

  1. Go to the Settings → Embed section.
  2. Copy the code snippet provided.
  3. Paste it into your website's HTML where you'd like the chatbot to appear.

The embed code is lightweight and loads your chatbot directly on the specified website.
